2024 Light The Night Campaign

Ben, Leukemia Survivor

Join Us to Bring Light to the Darkness of Cancer

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's annual Light The Night campaign brings light to the darkest moments of cancer by funding life-saving research, providing support to patients, and fostering community engagement. In the past seven years alone, LLS has contributed to an astounding 75% of FDA-approved blood cancer treatments. Our goal is to raise $25,000 to help further critical medical advancements for families and patients like Ben.

Ben was only four years old when he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia after months of struggling with illness and visiting numerous doctors. Ben's mother, Maggie, recalls, "We felt incredibly anxious and fearful but tried our best to comfort and reassure our very confused and ill little boy."

In the months ahead, Ben faced countless hospital visits and multiple rounds of chemotherapy. With frontline treatments and emotional support, including play therapy, Ben became well enough to rejoin his classmates at school. Ben says, "I cannot wait to spend more time with friends and get into all sorts of adventures out in the world."

Your support of the Light The Night campaign is not just a beacon of hope for patients like Ben; it's a testament to your compassion and commitment to the well-being of our community. With your help, patients navigate the challenges of blood cancer and look forward to a brighter future.

Donate today to join ACU and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in our urgent mission to end blood cancer. Together, we can make a difference!
