Join ACU to Provide Meal Bags for Families at Children's Hospital

Children's Hospital of Georgia goes the extra mile to ensure patients and their families receive the best possible care. This includes providing nutritious meals for hungry family members waiting at the hospital while their child is being treated. Join us to restock the hospital’s food pantry with delicious, pre-packaged meal bags.

How to Help: During the month of April, donate unopened, unexpired food items at any Associated Credit Union branch.
*Please refrain from donating canned goods.

If you prefer to have us buy the items, click here to donate, and we will purchase the items on your behalf. 

Here are some examples of nutritious, pre-packaged meals that would be great for donation: Single-serving microwave meals like spaghetti, chili, or stew 

  • Low-sodium soup cups
  • Microwavable mac and cheese cups
  • Single-serving oatmeal or grits
  • Breakfast bars
  • Fruit cups/pouches or applesauce cups with no added sugar
  • Tuna/chicken bags/pop-top cans/lunch to-go
  • Single-serving popcorn
  • Instant rice/beans in microwavable pouches or cups
  • Individual pudding or gelatin cups
  • Individually packaged trail mix, granola bars, or dried fruit
  • Single-serving packaged crackers
  • Small water or juice

ACU team members will carefully assemble and deliver the meal bags to Children's Hospital of Georgia.
